J Frank, a contemporary artist turned bartender, is inspired by the art of hospitality, building connections and building safe spaces. Having focused his time on spirits education, J continuously strives to learn more and more about the ingredients that make up our world. He arrived in Hong Kong after 7 years in London in March 2023 to lead Artifact Bar. J has managed bars since he was 19, most recently the highest bar in London, and Western Europe, at the top of The Shard. ​​
Nishant Vargas, born and raised a Hong Kong kid, has always had a passion for open armed hospitality, classic yet creative cocktails and rock n' roll. Nish cut his teeth bartending for over half a decade in a roser of well known venues such as Lily&Bloom, Terrible Baby, and The Diplomat. As Head Bartender of Artifact, he is dedicated to building an impactful cocktail program, growing the team, and of course, making memorable moments for the guest, with a side of banging cocktails. ​​
Artifact Bar is a token of a time, a place and a culture. It's evidence of the journey. The cocktail program is focussed on telling the stroies of aged spirits, whilst remaining accessible and unpretentious, with a rotating spirit focus. Forever aiming for an otherworldly drinking experience, as you take your place on the subterranean drinks odyssey.
